Hello!

I am a sociologist specializing in quantitative and mixed-methods research that bridges academic rigor and real-world policy impact.

I am completing my Ph.D. in Sociology at Harvard University, where my work focuses on housing, spatial inequality, and demographic trends. My research employs advanced quantitative methods—such as causal inference, spatial analysis, and demographic modeling—as well as qualitative and mixed-methods approaches. Across my projects, I prioritize producing high-quality, objective analyses that inform evidence-based decision-making and policy development.

My dissertation includes studies on the causal effects of housing permitting on racial segregation, the role of informal opposition in shaping housing outcomes, and the drivers of immigrant suburbanization. While these topics reflect my expertise, I am eager to apply my methodological skills to a broad range of research questions and topics.

Beyond research, I have experience mentoring graduate students in quantitative methods and research design as a Teaching Fellow for Harvard’s graduate-level course on longitudinal data analysis. I am passionate about making rigorous research accessible and actionable for policymakers, organizations, and communities.
